Site Description: Appletree St is a 'paper road' behind houses n Ridgeway Ave. The spring emerges behind Express Oil Change in Howell Mill Rd. The intersection of Ridgeway /Howell Mill floods with heavy rain. The area surrounding the stream often has a strong chemical odor. Possibility of petroleum products from Auto service business, leaking septic systems. Feeds into Underwood Hills Park and Peachtree Creek.

Special Information:Prior to major underground drainage works on Defoor Ave as part of the Quiktrip development it had a constant flow. Now it collects water from surrounding properties when it rains, especially a lot of run off from hard surfaces at the businesses on Howell Mill Rd. (Almost 100% lot level) Unconfirmed reports of legacy septic systems for housing.
