Site Description: Line Creek is an urban, rocky bottom, perennial stream that originates in Fairburn GA just north of I85. It terminates at its confluence with the Flint River near Williamson GA on the border of Pike and Merriweather counties. The sampling site is within the Line Creek Natura Area where the creek passes over many rocky shoals before it flows into Lake McIntosh. It is a very popular place for swimming and fishing and is easily accessible for residents of Peachtree City and Fayette County.
