Creek of Alcovy River near East End Road [S-3694] is one of 31 sites monitored by Group [ G-1743] Upper Ocmulgee/Yellow River

Site Description: This is an unnamed creek on the map entering Alcovy River on river right near East End Road on Georgia Wildlife Federation land. A wooden dock has been constructed by GWF.

Special Information:While the creek bed is clearly visible on the woodland floor, this is clearly not a perennial creek, but intermittent. It is completely dry on Feb. 8, 2015. The river water reached about 100' into the creek bed, but this is not a suitable testing site. This site is being registered only to inform others that may consider testing here in the future.
