Tributary of Butler Creek [S-3555] is one of 12 sites monitored by Group [ G-1552] Cobb County Watershed Stewardship Program


Site Description: Located within Camp McDonald Park. 2nd order stream. One trib flows from culvert fed by the historic Big Shanty Spring on Kennesaw City Hall property. The spring is brick/rock- nothing natural about it anymore. The other trib is now leading from the (currently under construction at time of adoption, Oct. 2014) parking structure and residential/retail multi-use property. A new culvert directs runoff into this stream.
