Site Description: Long Cane Creek at Old West Point Rd. is a major watershed creek for Troup and Harris Counties. Originating in NW Troup the creek flows adjacent to large manufacturing sites. The bridge is @ 1/4 mile east of Interstate 85 on Old West Point Road. Originally monitored by G-1749 Middle Chattahoochee River Stewards.

Special Information:During my first session, GA EPD, with an Adopt-a-Stream participant were monitoring the same location at the same time so my results can be compared to their results.
