Cliatt Creek [S-2159] is one of 1 sites monitored by Group [ G-1548] Demians Den


Site Description: The site is wooded at least 100 yards in all directions. The stream has etched a channel about 4 feet deep with bedrock riffles divided by sandy bottomed pools. There appear to be deposits of fine organic matter along the sides of the stream at low flow.

Special Information:The monitoring site is in the upper part of the Cliatt Creek watershed draining only about 4 square miles. Cliatt Creek originates near the intersection of Ga Route 150 and Mistletoe Road and flows north northeast into a cove of Clarks Hill Lake.
