Site Description: The site is a teaching area associated with Spirit Creek Educational Forest. The south side of the creek is cleared of underbrush but the large trees remain intact. There are tables to work on and very easy access to the stream.

Special Information:The site includes a bridge over the stream about 75 yards downstream of the main collection area. There is discarded concrete in the stream upstream of the collection site. a sewer line crosses the creek about 25 yards downstream and treated wastewater from Gracewood Hospital enters the stream about 150 yards downstream.
