Site Description: Site adjoins school property and is easily accessed by environmental classes. All testing can be completed from the bank of the river.
Bottom of river is entirely sand. Depth is from 4'to 1' depending the amount of rain that has fallen up stream.

Special Information:This section of the Yellow River has flooded twice this year. The school property wasn't flooded but some homes across the river were damaged. The science dept. won a $250,000 grant from Hewlett Packard to develop a sustainable wetland between the baseball field and the agricultural buildings. This project will take several years to construct.
