Willeo Creek [S-1238] is one of 1 sites monitored by Group [ G-1162] Willeo Watershed Warrior

Site Description: Willeo Creek, which forms the county line between Fulton and Cobb. The area monitored is approximately 100 meters north of Shallowford Road on the couty line. The name of the road changes to Pine Grove when it crosses into Fulton County. The monitoring point is accessed from the west, crossing the a modestly maintained sports field which doubles as the flood plain. The creek's west bank is borded by about 50 feet of heavy brush on the west side. Trails have been cut to the water and parallel to the shore line.

Special Information:Heavy rains in the first half of 2009 have been responsible for significant stream bank erosion in this specific area.
