Site Description: A second order tributary to Wolf Creeen (Muckalee Cr. Watershed). Sampling site is just north (downstream) from Site ID S-1185 at the outflow through a small beaver dam. Sampling site S-1185 is above impounded channel, although a series of tree root impoundments and falls is associated with 1185.

Special Information:The beaver impoundment slows water flow through this part of the stream. Velosity does increase at dam flow outlet (sampling point). This samplint site is established to allow comparison with upstream conditions to help evaluate effect of beaver impointment on streams in this geographical area.
