Site Description: A first order tributary to Wolf Creek (Muckalee Cr watershed), originating at edge of old stream flood plain. Sampling site is wooded (decidious) with a series of root impoundment falls. Stream at sampling station is about 0.5 meters in width. Watershed is undisturbed.

Special Information:Because of large amount of root and other woody material, shallow depth and narrow width, net sampling for biological monitoring will be difficult.

Stream flow across rood empoundments is fast but is slower through wider channel parts.
